Mera Luna Festival 2026: gothic and darkwave in Hildesheim, Germany
Founded in 2000, the Mera Luna Festival is Germany's largest gathering for the gothic, darkwave and industrial scene. Held at Flugplatz Hildesheim, the festival brings together 37 artists over two days and draws thousands of black-clad fans in a unique and theatrical atmosphere.
The 2026 edition celebrates gothic rock, darkwave, industrial and ebm. The festival pairs historical legends of the dark scene with modern acts in a sharp and committed programme.
The bill also ventures into synthpop, new wave, post-punk and alternative rock. Dark electro, aggrotech, futurepop and medieval folk round out a resolutely nocturnal lineup.
