Musikfest 2026: ten days of free music on Bethlehem's former steelmaking grounds
Produced by ArtsQuest, Musikfest takes over Bethlehem, Pennsylvania (USA), from July 31 to August 9, 2026. With nearly 500 performances across seventeen stages — most of them free to walk up to — it is the largest free music festival in the country, partly staged on the landmark grounds of the former Bethlehem Steel mills.
Ticketed headliners are concentrated on the Wind Creek Steel Stage: AJR on August 9, Third Eye Blind and alternative rock alongside Taking Back Sunday (August 8 with Yellowcard), Bailey Zimmerman on the 6th, plus Weird Al Yankovic. Around them, the free bill blends folk, jazz, Latin, Steve Earle and the indie of Built to Spill.
Steel Stage ticketing is handled by ArtsQuest; the rest of the festival is free to roam between historic downtown Bethlehem and the SteelStacks campus.

What are the 2026 dates and how long does it run?
Musikfest 2026 runs from 31 July to 9 August in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania — ten days in all. On the Steel Stage the run goes from Russell Dickerson on 31 July through to AJR on 9 August, taking in Third Eye Blind (2 August), TRAIN (3 August), “Weird Al” Yankovic (4 August) and Parker McCollum (7 August) along the way.
What time do main-stage shows start?
Every announced Wind Creek Steel Stage show begins at 6:00 PM, each night of the ’fest. Steel Terrace ticket holders come in through a separate entrance into the venue, while Yuengling Flight Deck at the Oasis pass holders get their own bar inside the site.
Is there food and drink on site?
The Steel Stage hospitality packages cover it: a Steel Terrace ticket includes a reserved seat in one of the two Steel Terrace tents — the only covered seating in the venue — plus dinner, dessert, an open bar and private air-conditioned restrooms. The Yuengling Flight Deck at the Oasis pass is an upgrade rather than an entry ticket; it opens up the Oasis bar, air-conditioned restrooms and one Steel Stage parking pass for every two passes bought.

ArtsQuest puts total attendance at 1.4 million visitors. Spread across the ten days that works out at roughly 140,000 people a day — an approximate figure, as re-entries and the 15 free stages inevitably inflate the cumulative count.
