📋About
Nancy Jazz Pulsations 2026: half a century of borderless music in the heart of Nancy
Founded in 1973, Nancy Jazz Pulsations (NJP) lights up the Parc de la Pépinière and Nancy's finest venues every autumn. From 3 to 17 October 2026, the festival spreads 250 concerts across 7 stages and draws more than 90,000 festival-goers — a fixture of the French jazz scene that it has never stopped reaching beyond.
A trailblazer at heart, NJP lets genres collide: from the original jazz of the stage that once hosted Miles Davis, Nina Simone and Keith Jarrett, to rap, chanson and electronica. The 2026 edition brings together bassist Christian McBride, the electro-swing of Caravan Palace, songwriter Bertrand Belin and trumpeter Airelle Besson.
Each venue has its own colour: the Chapiteau de la Pépinière for the big shows, the Magic for electro and dub afters until dawn, the Salle Poirel for voices, the Opéra national de Lorraine for grandeur and the Théâtre de la Manufacture for the most adventurous jazz. Chapiteau tickets range from €30 to €42, with money-saving passes (Trio Chapiteau at €93) and reduced rates for under-30s, students and jobseekers.
Backed by the City of Nancy and the Grand Est region, the festival stretches the Indian summer well beyond its fifteen days, with year-round cultural projects across the area. See you from 3 to 17 October 2026 in Nancy — full programme and tickets on the official site.
