Pablo Casals de Prades 2026: classical and baroque music in French Catalonia

The Pablo Casals de Prades Festival takes place in Codalet, Pyrénées-Orientales, in the Conflent plain at the heart of French Catalonia. Founded in memory of the great Catalan cellist, it continues a tradition of high-level chamber and classical music, running from 28 July to 8 August.

The 2026 edition brings together 5 leading soloists: Jordi Savall, Anastasia Kobekina, Jean Guihen Queyras, Pablo Ferrandez and Sol Gabetta.

The programme focuses on baroque and classical repertoire with a pronounced cello specialisation, in the tradition inherited from Pablo Casals himself. Concerts in a medieval setting for the most discerning music lovers.
