Rock Am Berg Open Air 2026: metal and rock in Merkers, Germany
Rock Am Berg Open Air is a rock and metal festival held at Waldstadion Kulturbühne Merkers in Thuringia. Over three days, the festival brings together 30 artists celebrating distorted guitars in a friendly yet radical atmosphere.
The 2026 edition explores hard rock, heavy metal, thrash metal and power metal. The festival pairs German acts with international bands in an accessible and energetic programme.
The bill also ventures into melodic metal, folk metal, punk rock and alternative rock. Blues rock, stoner rock and classic rock round out an eclectic lineup celebrating the diversity of rock and metal.
