What are the festival dates?
Camping opens on Thursday 23 July 2026 and the festival itself runs over three days, Friday, Saturday and Sunday (24-26 July 2026). The Weekend Camping ticket gives campsite access from Thursday, for a four-night stay.
Where is the festival and how do I get there?
Rock Oyster takes place at Dinham House, on the Camel Estuary in North Cornwall, England. If you travel by car you'll need to buy a parking pass (Camping or Day car park). The festival also runs shuttle buses from the surrounding area, with three routes to choose from.
Which tickets and passes are available?
There are three entry options: Weekend Camping (campsite access plus entry all three days), 3 Day No Camping (Friday, Saturday and Sunday entry without camping) and Day Tickets (a single day of your choice). Each comes in Adult (18+), Teen (12-17) and Child (Under 11s / Under 5s) types. Everyone attending, including the youngest (the "Little Fish"), needs an entry ticket.
Is camping available?
Yes. Access to the General, Family and Quieter campsites is included in the Weekend Camping ticket — just bring a tent for a four-night stay. Paid upgrades are also offered: Live-in Vehicles (campers/caravans), Boutique Camping (5-star glamping with bell tents and yurts) and Camel Camp (a reserved pitch or a pre-pitched tent). Guests in these areas must also hold a Weekend Camping ticket.
Is there food on site?
Food is central to the festival: Michelin-starred chefs plus Cornwall restaurants and producers deliver cooking demonstrations, taster plates and signature dishes in an alfresco setting. There are also Long Table Banquets (curated menus) and culinary masterclasses.
How many stages and what's the line-up?
The main music stage is the Oyster Stage, set against the Camel Estuary, with over 50 live performances across the weekend. The 2026 headliners are Groove Armada (DJ Set), Scissor Sisters and Kool & the Gang. Beyond the music, the Deep Dive area hosts authors, talks, quizzes and comedy, while The Kitchen and the Masterclasses offer demos and workshops.
Are children and families welcome?
Yes, it's a family-friendly festival. There are Teen (12-17) and Child (Under 11s, Under 5s) tickets, and every child needs their own entry ticket. A dedicated Family Camping area is available (no special ticket needed), along with children's activities and a nanny service (Mortimer Nannies) on hand throughout the weekend.
