When was Rock the South founded?
The festival celebrates its 15th year in 2026. For this edition it moves to a new home, The Fields at Decatur, in Decatur, Alabama, and debuts a second stage presented by Raised Rowdy, alongside the Fanzone Stage at the campground.
What are the dates and how long does it run?
Rock the South 2026 runs Thursday 11 to Saturday 13 June — three days of music. Campers get four nights of camping, Wednesday through Sunday.
Is there camping and does it cost extra?
Yes, camping is sold separately from festival admission. Car + Tent camping starts at $328.69 (20'x20' space, 4 guests) and RV camping from $796.69. Each site includes one vehicle space; showers are $10 on site. Check-in is Wednesday 8am–midnight and Thursday 6am–9am.
Does the festival take cash?
No, Rock the South is a cashless event: vendors only accept cards, plus contactless payment via Apple Pay and Google Pay.
What ages are allowed and do children pay?
It is an all-ages event; everyone needs their own ticket. Children aged 2 and under enter free.
Is the site accessible for disabled guests?
