Tension Festival 2026: electronic and world music in Basel, Switzerland
Tension Festival takes place at the Sankt Jakobs-Strasse in Basel, the trinational Swiss city on the French and German borders. This event offers a programme blending electronic, world and rock music in one of Switzerland's most culturally active cities.
The 2026 edition features 19 international artists. Among the names on the bill: TRYM, Kobosil, Worakls and Francis Mercier.
The musical palette covers techno, tribal house, melodic house and contemporary African music. Artists like MRAK, Ely Oaks and Paolo Ferrara reflect the diversity of the selection.
