Tolminator Fest 2026: extreme metal festival in Slovenia
Tolminator Fest is a Slovenian festival specialising in extreme metal and heavy music. From July 24 to 28, 2026, the Sotočje site hosts 22 international bands for five days celebrating death metal, black metal and hardcore. The Slovenian natural setting adds an epic dimension to this annual pilgrimage for extreme music fans.
The programme gathers references of international extreme metal. Swedish In Flames bring melodic death metal, Americans Hatebreed energetic beatdown hardcore and Californians Deafheaven atmospheric blackgaze. American veterans Deicide embody old-school death metal, Agnostic Front historical New York hardcore.
The festival explores all facets of extreme metal: black metal with Norwegian Satyricon, atmospheric black metal, crossover thrash with Municipal Waste, deathcore and desert rock with Elder. Germans Heaven Shall Burn and Scottish Bleed from Within represent modern European metalcore.
