Treefort Music Fest 2026: indie and rock festival in Boise, Idaho
Since its inception in 2012, Treefort Music Fest has become a landmark event for the independent music scene in the Pacific Northwest. The five-day festival takes over multiple venues across downtown Boise, Idaho, delivering a dense and eclectic programme. Treefort champions discovery: emerging acts and headliners share stages in a welcoming, curiosity-driven atmosphere.
The 2026 edition brings together 166 artists spanning rock, electronic, folk and hip-hop. Headliners Father John Misty, Magdalena Bay and Hellogoodbye set the tone for a lineup balancing indie rock, synth-pop and psychedelic folk.
The musical palette stretches from alternative rock to dream pop, through shoegaze, post-punk, noise rock and lo-fi. Blues rock, emo, punk and indietronica also feature, reflecting the festival's pluralistic DNA.
