❓FAQ
How many stages are there, and what are they?
In England, the music spreads across three main stages — Meadow, Acoustic Roots and Riverside — plus the Campsite stage, alongside the many pubs of Upton upon Severn that host live acts too.
What are the dates and how long does it run?
The festival runs from 15 to 19 July 2026. The main stages play Friday to Sunday, while the campsite stage and pubs get going from Wednesday. Music starts around midday and finishes at 23:30 on Friday and Saturday, 23:00 on Sunday.
Is the festival free?
Yes — Upton Blues is a free music festival. It's funded entirely by campsite tickets and merchandise sales, which is why donations matter for covering the bands, staging, security and clean-up.
Is there camping, and how does pricing work?
Yes, on the official campsite beside the River Severn. One ticket covers the whole weekend; only the price changes depending on your arrival day (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday), and you can stay until Tuesday morning. There are no electric hook-ups and no generators, but you'll find shops, two shower blocks, a free shuttle and a family area. The entrance sits opposite Upton Marina (postcode WR8 0PB, What3Words ///strict.relatives.sandbags).
What time does the campsite open?
The entry gate opens at 07:00 from Wednesday, with vehicle access until 21:00 (15:00 on Sunday). Don't arrive before 07:00 — there's no waiting area. All tickets must be bought in advance through FIXR; there's no payment on the gate.
Is the site accessible for visitors with reduced mobility?
Yes: there's a mobility-scooter charging station, a camping area reserved for Blue Badge holders, a shuttle around the campsite, easy-access toilets and showers, and a free land train linking both ends of the town. Bear in mind the campsite is an agricultural field with uneven ground, and the organisers don't provide carer tickets.
How do I get there?
Upton upon Severn is reached by road via Junction 8 of the M5 (Strensham Services, a handy meeting point, is a 10-minute drive away). Once in town, a free land train shuttles visitors from one end to the other.
