FAQ

When and where does Eden Festival 2026 take place?

The 2026 edition runs from 11 to 14 June at Raehills Estate, just outside Moffat in Dumfries and Galloway, south-west Scotland, postcode DG11 1ET. The 4-day Weekend ticket covers Thursday 11th to Sunday 14th, while the 3-day ticket starts on the Friday.

Is this a camping festival?

Yes. The main campsite gates open at 2pm on Thursday 11 June and close at midday on Monday 15 June. To camp from Thursday you need a 4 Day Weekend ticket or a Thursday Bolt-on. Showers are available at the main campsite for £4. For more comfort, a glamping area offers bell tents and yurts with their own dedicated showers and toilets and a 24-hour reception.

How can I get there by train or bus?

The nearest train stations are Lockerbie (12 miles) and Dumfries (15 miles). Lockerbie is roughly 1 hour from Glasgow and Edinburgh, and about 4 hours from London on a direct train. By bus, the site is on the X74 (Glasgow/Dumfries) and 101 (Edinburgh/Dumfries) routes: get off at the 'St Ann's' stop, where the Eden shuttle bus takes you down to the ticket office.

Is there food on site, and are there vegan options?

The festival hosts many traders bound by a green policy: every food trader must offer at least one vegan option, serve only free-range eggs, and use compostable cutlery and plates. A small corner shop is open 18 hours a day at the campsite. As single-use plastics are banned on site, bring a reusable bottle to refill at the water points.

Is the festival accessible for disabled visitors?

Yes. Eden has a dedicated accessible campsite and car park located by the main arena, plus accessible toilets at all the main areas of the site. A complimentary Personal Assistant (PA) ticket is available on production of supporting documents (PIP, DLA, Blue Badge parking with photo ID, etc.). Note that the site is mostly grassland, so an all-terrain wheelchair is recommended, and the woodland Boardwalk stage remains hard to navigate.

Is it a family-friendly festival?

Eden describes itself as a family-friendly festival. All under-18s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian aged over 21, otherwise they will not be allowed onto the site. A Challenge 25 policy operates on all gates and bars.

How long has the festival been running?

2026 marks the 16th edition. Born within the Wickerman Festival as the 'Eden Zone' in 2002, the event went it alone in 2009 and is still organised and built each year by the local community.
