Held deep in Michigan's forests at the Double JJ Ranch & Golf Resort, Electric Forest Festival has become a landmark of the American electronic and club music scene since its inception in 2011. Every summer, this festival transforms Rothbury into an enchanted realm where electronic music meets nature, drawing tens of thousands of festival-goers for four days of total immersion.
The 2026 edition brings together 12 artists showcasing the diversity of contemporary electronic music. Headlining, Madeon brings his touch of French house while Mild Minds explores melodic dance territories. Sam Gellaitry and Andy C complete an eclectic lineup.
The programming spans wide, from drum & bass driven by Andy C to the hyperpop of Frost Children, passing through breakbeat and trap EDM from Sullivan King. The inclusion of The String Cheese Incident adds a psychedelic jam band touch that defines the festival's signature.

When does Electric Forest 2026 take place?
The festival runs from June 25 to 28, 2026 at the Double JJ Ranch in Rothbury, Michigan (United States), for four days of music. The event — including camping and parking — is sold out.
Is camping included?
The 4-day General Admission pass includes access to the GA Campgrounds. Camping next to your car or bringing an RV requires a separate pass (Car Camping $150, RV from $600), one per vehicle. Group camps are also available, including Camp Traction, a free sober camp, and Her Forest for femme-identifying guests.
When can you set up at the campground?
Entry into the GA Campgrounds begins Thursday, June 25 at 12:01 AM ET. With the “Wednesday Arrival” add-on, you can set up from Wednesday, June 24 at 12:01 AM ET.
What food is available onsite?
Main Street, at the heart of the GA Campgrounds, gathers many food vendors. The festival also offers paid culinary experiences such as the Chef's Table (a 4-course “farm-to-fest” menu), cheese-and-wine tastings and agave-spirit tastings.
Are there shuttles to the festival?
Yes, a roundtrip shuttle service is offered from Grand Rapids, Detroit, Ann Arbor, Chicago, Columbus and New York City, with complimentary early arrival for riders.
