Floydfest 2026: the americana festival in Floyd, Virginia
Held at FestivalPark in the Blue Ridge Mountains near Floyd, Virginia, Floydfest has become since 2002 one of the most respected americana, folk rock and bluegrass festivals in the Appalachians. From July 22 to 26, 2026, this five-day festival attracts thousands of festival-goers for a celebration of American roots music in a spectacular mountain setting.
The 2026 edition brings together 12 artists with three major headliners. My Morning Jacket brings their psychedelic alternative rock tinged with country, while Tedeschi Trucks Band explores fusions between blues rock and jam band. The Dip completes the lineup with their energetic soul and blue-eyed soul.
The programming explores all the richness of American roots and contemporary music. Larkin Poe embodies the revival of Southern blues rock, Lukas Nelson continues his father's country legacy, while Chuck Prophet and Stephen Wilson Jr. represent California alternative country. Amble adds an Irish folk touch to the whole.
