Jazz au Phare 2026: vocal jazz festival on Île de Ré, France
For over fifteen years, Jazz au Phare has brightened summer evenings in Saint-Clément-des-Baleines, at the northern tip of Île de Ré. Held in late July at the foot of the famous Baleines lighthouse, this intimate festival focuses on refined jazz programming, with a preference for vocal jazz and female voices.
The 2026 edition features 7 artists from July 26 to 30. On the program: China Moses for jazz soul, American Veronica Swift for virtuoso bebop, and Jeanne Cherhal for pop and singer-songwriter.
The lineup also explores the boundaries between jazz and soul, with intimate offerings facing the Atlantic Ocean. The outdoor acoustics and maritime setting give a unique dimension to this summer musical gathering.
