Produit par Danny Wimmer Presents, l'« America's Largest Rock & Metal Festival » revient du 17 au 20 septembre 2026 à Highland Festival Grounds, sur le site du Kentucky Exposition Center. Plus de 200 artistes sur sept scènes composent, selon Spectrum News 1, la plus grande programmation de l'histoire du festival — né en 2014 à Champions Park et passé à quatre jours dès 2021.
Chaque soirée a sa propre tête d'affiche : Iron Maiden ouvre le jeudi 17 septembre, My Chemical Romance prend le relais le vendredi 18, Limp Bizkit et son nu-metal ferment le samedi 19, et Tool clôt le dimanche 20. Le reste de l'affiche aligne les vétérans du thrash Megadeth et Pantera.

What are the dates and duration?
Louder Than Life 2026 takes place from 17 to 20 September at the Highland Festival Grounds of the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville. It is an all-ages event: every attendee, of any age, needs a pass.
Is camping paid and when does it open?
Yes, camping (paid and sold separately from the festival pass) offers five nights close to the grounds. The campgrounds open Wednesday 16 September at 12pm (9am for Early Arrival Pass holders) and close Monday 21 September at noon. Included: complimentary showers, 24-hour security, medical and customer service, plus a camp store.
How does payment work?
Your pass comes as an RFID festival wristband, one per pass purchased.
Can you bring your own food?
Generally, outside food and drink are not allowed inside the festival. Limited exceptions exist for medical or dietary needs (clear Ziplock bags, a small soft-sided cooler), subject to prior email approval.
How do you get there by public transport?
The Park & TARC service runs daily from downtown Louisville to the Expo Center. You can park at the PARC garage (115 W Jefferson) for a nominal fee that includes roundtrip TARC bus service for everyone in the car.
Is the festival accessible for people with reduced mobility?
Yes. An Access Center with trained staff sits at both entrances: raised viewing platforms, accessible restrooms, mobility-device charging stations, Braille/large-print schedules, ASL-interpreted shows, and accessible campsites with adapted showers. Details on the official site.
