📋About
Meadow Fest 2027: Britpop tributes, rising acts and local growers near Amersham
At the end of May, the Penn House Estate in Buckinghamshire hosts a weekend built around families. Meadow Fest puts British music first, yet food counts just as much: farmers from the area feed the crowd, local tastings punctuate the days and children get activities of their own. It all happens on May 28, 29 and 30, 2027 at The Big Park, by the village of Penn Street, close to Amersham and an easy trip out of London.
The bill plays two cards, with no days or set times published so far. Tribute acts revive Britpop and its neighbours: Noasis for Oasis, Antarctic Monkeys for Arctic Monkeys, Gladness for Madness, Johnny 2 Bad for UB40, Absolute U2 and That Brit Pop Band. Beside them stands a new generation mixing rock, folk and country: The Small Fortunes from North West England, Merseyside twins The Kowloons, Swanage indie rockers Galaxy Thief, Liverpool folk-rocker James J Turner, Luke Flear, crowned best male artist by the British Country Music Awards in 2024, Emilia Quinn, bluesman Alex Voysey and ukulele player Fragile Lucy.
Early Bird weekend passes come as general admission or VIP, with a payment plan available. Under-14s go in free with an adult holding a paid ticket, on proof of age. VIP brings a priority lane, entry an hour ahead of everyone else, a private bar and dining area, nicer toilets and VIP-only sets. Weekend camping and parking passes are sold as extras.
Food stalls cover vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and local produce, with water points on site; outside food and drink stay out of the arena, as do glass, barbecues, umbrellas and large bags. Dogs are not allowed, to protect the estate’s wildlife, under-18s must be with an adult, a medical team is on hand and Blue Badge holders park for free. Getting there: train to Beaconsfield or Amersham, then a 10 to 15 minute taxi; buses 1B and 1C from High Wycombe; or drive south of the A404, ideally sharing a car.
