How many days does Øyafestivalen 2026 run?
Four, from Wednesday 12 to Saturday 15 August 2026, in Tøyenparken, Oslo. Wednesday and Thursday had been sold out for a long time, but a precise recount of capacity let the festival put a few more day tickets on sale at NOK 1,699, released at 10:00 each morning from Monday 10 August — right up to the day of the show itself.
Which stage do the headliners play?
The Amfiet, Øya’s largest stage: The Cure perform there on Wednesday 12 August at 20:30, Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds on Thursday 13 at 21:00, sombr on Friday 14 at 21:30 and Dagny on Saturday 15 at 21:30. A second stage, Klubben, also appears in the line-up announcements.
Should I pick up my wristband before arriving?
It is strongly recommended. The early ticket-to-wristband swap runs at Jernbanetorget on Monday 10 August from 11:30 to 19:00 and Tuesday 11 August from 11:30 to 21:00, for all ticket categories and with photo ID required — anyone who does it gets free entry to Øya-tirsdag. From Wednesday only festival passes and same-day passes can be exchanged, and you should then allow two hours before the first act you want to see. Lockers can be booked in advance, both on the festival site and in the Høyden area.
