📋About
Rock Castle Festival 2026: Epic Metal in a Czech Castle
From August 13-15, 2026, Zámecký Areál hosts Rock Castle Festival, an event dedicated to power metal and folk metal. This edition brings together 17 bands in the spectacular setting of a historic castle. Headliners Powerwolf, German theatrical power metal masters, SONATA ARCTICA, Finnish melodic metal legends, and Testament, thrash metal pillars, guarantee epic performances.
The 2026 lineup celebrates metal's festive and pirate spirit with ALESTORM and their unique pirate metal, blending accordions and distorted guitars. The festival explores symphonic metal and epic metal territories, creating a medieval atmosphere perfectly harmonizing with the castle setting.
Rock Castle Festival transcends simple concerts to become an immersive experience in medieval metal's universe. Zámecký Areál's historic ramparts, combined with theatrical performances and period costumes, create a unique atmosphere in the Czech Republic. Between crowd-sung choruses and dizzying guitar solos, this summer gathering embodies the perfect fusion between history and modern metal.
