On August 11-12, 2026, Color Fest illuminates Riviera dei Tramonti Falcone Borsellino with a lineup celebrating alternative electronic and experimental music. This independent Italian festival fuses ambient, neo-psychedelia, and IDM in an inspiring Mediterranean setting.
German producer Apparat headlines with cinematic electronic soundscapes and sophisticated ambient approach. Dutch collective Yin Yin enriches the experience with neo-psychedelic fusions blending Thai influences and hypnotic funk sounds.
Italian scene asserts itself with The Zen Circus, local alternative legends, and C'Mon Tigre exploring alternative dance territories. GAIA BANFI completes this lineup with intimate ambient pop tinged with disco and Italian influences.
Color Fest celebrates alternative electronic culture diversity in a friendly seaside spirit. Between contemplative sets and dancing onslaughts, this two-day festival dialogues with contemporary sonic innovations transcending boundaries between IDM and experimental pop.

How many stages does Color Fest 14 have?
Four, strung along a kilometre of coastline: the Palco dei Tramonti — CUPRA Stage, the main stage facing the open sea, with Stromboli on the horizon at sunset; the Palco Pineta, under the maritime pines; the Future Stage, dedicated to electronic dj sets deep into the night; and the Marley Stage, a smaller satellite stage for acoustic sessions. Two gates lead into the site: Ingresso A to the south, by the Color Fest arch, and Ingresso B to the north, on the pine-wood side.
When and where is the 2026 edition?
On 11, 12 and 13 August 2026, along the Lungomare Falcone e Borsellino, the long beach of Marinella in Lamezia Terme, Calabria, facing the Tyrrhenian Sea: three days, 21 artists, feet in the sand.
What does a festival day look like?
It starts early: acoustic shows and dj sets from 7.30am on the seafront — Cosmo plays a morning set on 12 August, 7.30–11am. From midday the beach stays open between live sets. The main stage opens around 7.30pm for golden hour, and from 11pm the live acts hand over to dj sets that run until dawn.
Is camping available?
Two sites offer tent pitches, bookable for the three nights and open only to festival ticket holders; tents are never included. Camping Ulisse sits in the pine wood, 150m from the stages and 50m from the sea, from €120 per person for three days, with electric hook-up, hot showers 24/7, Wi-Fi, laundry, round-the-clock security and the festival car park 30m away. Lido La Baia releases 50 pitches a day on the sand, a five-minute walk from the site, from €90 for three nights, with 4 showers, 2 toilet-and-changing blocks, charging points, a bar open 8am–4am and the festival aftershows.
What is there to eat and drink?
The Area Food runs the length of the seafront with Calabrian cooking, food trucks and vegetarian and vegan options. Bars and cocktail bars operate from morning to night between the stages, next to the Color Market and its independent traders.
Is the site accessible for visitors with disabilities?
The seafront is accessible and dedicated areas are provided. There are two steps: buy your ticket on Ticketmaster like everyone else, then fill in the accessibility registration on the festival site, which activates free entry for a companion. Specific requests go to [email protected].
Which is the nearest station, and is there a shuttle?
Lamezia Terme Centrale, Calabria’s main rail hub on the Tyrrhenian line (Frecciarossa, Frecciargento and Intercity services from Milan, Turin, Bologna, Florence, Rome, Naples, Bari and Reggio Calabria), is 3km from the site. On all three festival days a city bus links the station to the Riviera dei Tramonti with 18 runs a day in each direction, from the first outbound at 7.10am to the last return at 00.31; tickets are sold at authorised outlets or through the MooneyGo app. Lamezia Terme airport (SUF) is roughly a 10-minute taxi ride away.
Which edition is this, and when did it start?
The 14th. Color Fest began in 2013, run by the association Che Cosa Sono Le Nuvole APS, a year after it opened the Sensum — Casa dell’arte cultural space in Lamezia Terme. More than a hundred Italian and international acts have played across its fourteen editions, and the Riviera dei Tramonti has been its home since 2025.
