The Baltic Open Air Festival takes place in Schleswig, in northern Germany, close to the Danish border. A regular meeting point for fans of metal, reggae and rock, it draws a dedicated crowd around an eclectic multi-stage programme.
The 2026 edition brings together 5 artists spanning contrasting styles. Key names include Skindred, a flagship act in the alternative metal and reggae rock world, Floor Jansen, and the ever-present Mr. Irish Bastard.
The musical range spans nu metal and celtic punk through to folk punk and symphonic metal. Fans of reggae rock will also find their fix, while rapcore and rap rock add an urban edge to the lineup.
