Bournemouth Reggae Weekender: Three Days of Reggae and Lovers Rock at Kings Park
From July 24 to 26, 2026, Kings Park in Boscombe hosts the Bournemouth Reggae Weekender, a major gathering for British and international reggae enthusiasts. Located in Bournemouth, this festival offers three days of live performances, DJ sets, and sound systems in a summery and welcoming atmosphere. The event celebrates reggae culture in all its forms, from traditional roots to contemporary reggae-pop.
The lineup features renowned artists: Maxi Priest, legend of romantic reggae, Hollie Cook, ambassador of British female reggae, and Kiko Bun, rising star of UK reggae. Also performing are Apache Indian, The Dualers, and the legendary Channel One Sound System.
The festival explores different facets of reggae: lovers rock with its sweet and romantic melodies, accessible and sunny reggae-pop, alongside more traditional roots riddims. This musical diversity allows for alternating between danceable moments and more meditative atmospheres, while celebrating the richness of British reggae culture. The sound systems create an authentic atmosphere, faithful to the Jamaican origins of the genre.
Join us at the end of July 2026 in Bournemouth for a sunny reggae weekend. The Bournemouth Reggae Weekender promises total immersion in positive vibrations and reggae culture.
