📋About
Cabaret Vert 2026: Twenty Years of Music, Comics and Ecology in Charleville-Mézières
From 20 to 23 August 2026, the Square Bayard, in the heart of Charleville-Mézières in the French Ardennes, hosts the twentieth edition of a festival that refuses to be pigeonholed. Cabaret Vert is far more than a concert bill: across four days it lets live music, comic art, cinema and sustainability share one site.
A line-up with no genre borders
Spread over the Zanzibar, Greenfloor, Razorback and Zion Club stages, the 2026 programme embraces contrast. Heavy rock rules opening night with Deftones, Turnstile and Body Count led by Ice-T; then come Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Underworld, Cat Power and Sparks, before a poppier, electronic evening driven by Kygo, Charlotte Cardin, Disiz and Feu! Chatterton. The Zion Club carries the night into pure reggae-dub sound-system culture, while the Teletech stage gathers the electronic scene.
Much more than a music festival
- The Comics Area, also turning twenty: 62 authors, over 160 series on show, 600 hours of signings, a Japan Corner and a Spirou treasure hunt.
- The IDÉAL Cinema, designed with students from ESAD Reims: two screens, rolling headphone screenings, music videos, shorts and documentaries.
- The Estaminet, a family village square with magic, clowning and a quiet auditory-rest zone.
True to its name, Cabaret Vert remains one of France's most environmentally committed festivals, a value woven into its identity since 2006.
