NN North Sea Jazz Festival 2026: jazz temple in Rotterdam

Since 1976, the North Sea Jazz Festival has reigned over Rotterdam as the world reference for contemporary jazz. Over three days, 59 artists take over the Ahoy Rotterdam to celebrate all variations of the genre: contemporary jazz, jazz fusion, post-bop, soul, neo soul and R&B. The festival transcends the boundaries of traditional jazz to embrace all African American music and their contemporary avatars.

The 2026 edition reveals a prestigious lineup led by ANOUAR BRAHEM, ASAF AVIDAN, Amaro Freitas and Bill Evans. The festival explores afrobeat sounds with Adekunle Gold, experimental jazz with Adrian Younge, and contemporary fusions with Alex Isley and Bilal.

North Sea Jazz stands out for its encyclopedic approach: fifteen simultaneous stages offer classical jazz, unprecedented collaborations and global discoveries. Anja Lechner, Annie and the Caldwells, Anwar Marshall and Brett Williams illustrate this dizzying diversity.
