Pickathon 2026: the indie-folk festival in Portland, Oregon
Held on a pastoral site near Portland, Oregon, Pickathon has become since 1999 one of the most innovative and eco-responsible indie and americana festivals in the United States. From July 30 to August 2, 2026, this four-day festival attracts thousands of festival-goers for an intimate celebration of indie folk, alternative rock and psychedelic music in a unique countryside setting.
The 2026 edition brings together 8 artists with three renowned headliners. Shakey Graves brings dark and theatrical American folk, while Built to Spill embodies independent Idaho rock with psychedelic guitars. Alela Diane completes the lineup with contemplative acoustic indie folk.
The programming explores the diversity of the contemporary American indie scene. Widowspeak and The Brothers Comatose explore dream pop and alternative country sounds, while Briscoe brings more experimental touches. Sa-Roc adds a conscious hip-hop dimension to this eclectic programming.
