📋About
Samhain Festival 2026: Celebration of Dark and Pagan Metal
Samhain Festival will take place on April 4 and 5, 2026, at TRIX in Antwerp, Belgium. With 21 artists scheduled, this spring festival celebrates the darkest and most mystical facets of metal, offering two days dedicated to black metal, pagan metal, and occult sounds exploring ancestral themes and alternative spirituality.
The lineup explores folk metal, viking metal, doom metal, and all variations of atmospheric metal drawing from European pagan traditions. Samhain stands out for its unique atmosphere, mixing medieval aesthetics, occult symbolism, and celebration of ancestral natural cycles.
The festival takes its name from the ancient Celtic festival marking summer's end and the dark season's beginning, creating strong thematic coherence between musical programming and pagan symbolism. This conceptual approach attracts an audience passionate about Nordic mythologies, pre-Christian traditions, and artistic expressions celebrating connection with nature.
Temple of pagan and atmospheric metal in Belgium, Samhain Festival offers much more than just a succession of concerts: it's a complete celebration of an alternative worldview, where extreme music and pagan spirituality meet to create a unique immersive and mystical experience.
