Banlieues Bleues is an essential springtime event for jazz and world music enthusiasts. Organized each year from March to April in Seine-Saint-Denis, this touring festival offers a cutting-edge lineup blending contemporary jazz, hip-hop, and African music across various venues in the Paris suburbs.
The 2026 edition brings together 41 artists from March 27 to April 17. Among the headliners: Rocé, Armand Hammer and Uzi Freyja, alongside Koki Nakano and Angel Bat Dawid.
The lineup explores the boundaries of jazz and improvised music, from abstract hip hop to experimental, including Afro-Brazilian rhythms. Fans of samba, frevo, and African music will also find plenty to enjoy in this celebration of hybrid musical cultures.
