The line-up unfolds across three stages: Sophie and Petrus in the open park, plus Kirka inside Sofienberg Church, which holds 450 people (entry with the regular festival wristband, on a one-in-one-out basis once full).

What are the dates and opening hours?

Piknik i Parken runs from 11 to 13 June 2026 in Sofienbergparken, in the Grünerløkka district of Oslo. The park opens Thursday 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, Friday 2:00 PM–10:30 PM and Saturday 12:00 PM–10:30 PM; the bars close at 10:00 PM.

How do I get to the festival?

The tram is easiest: take line 11, 12 or 18 to Olaf Ryes plass and walk 3–4 minutes, or line 17 to enter from the other side of the park. At night the trams run until about 1:30 AM, with night bus N11 as a back-up. No parking is reserved for the festival.

Are children allowed and up to what age is it free?

There is no age limit. Children aged 0 to 11 enter free when accompanied by a parent, after registering at the ticket booth; bring hearing protection, as it is not sold on site. Family-friendly activities are planned on Saturday daytime at Byløkka.

Is the venue accessible for people with reduced mobility?

Yes — the park has good accessibility with ramps and accessible toilets. Guests who need a companion may enter together with them on presentation of a companion card at the ticket booth, where the companion receives their own wristband.

There are no cash machines on site; payment is by VISA, Mastercard or BankAxept. Cups are reusable, with a 20-kroner environmental deposit on your first purchase.
