Hellfest 2026: the metal festival in Clisson, France
Founded in 2006, Hellfest has become the largest metal and extreme music festival in France. Every year, it welcomes over 60,000 festivalgoers per day at the Val de Moine site in Clisson, Loire-Atlantique, for four days of concerts across six stages.
The 2026 edition brings together 214 artists, with must-see headliners from heavy metal and thrash metal. Among the legends announced: Iron Maiden, Deep Purple, Megadeth and System of a Down. The stages will also host Bring Me The Horizon and The Offspring.
The lineup covers a wide spectrum: from black metal with Behemoth to hardcore punk, including death metal, doom metal and stoner rock. Fans of grindcore, deathcore and post-metal will also find their favorite acts on side stages, with discoveries like Truckfighters.
