How many stages does the festival have?

Slottsfjell runs eight stages right in the centre of Tønsberg: two outdoor stages (Kongescenen and Baglerscenen), the indoor Verftet stage, plus the concept stages Campingscenen, Kaldnes Mek., Foam Box Rosa Room, Boogie Garden and the Pepsi Max Silent Disco. After dark, the "Natten" club opens the Verftet and Kastell stages.

When does the 2026 edition take place?

The festival runs over two days, Thursday 9 and Friday 10 July 2026, each night extended by the Natten club until dawn.

What time does the site open?

The festival grounds open at 1:00 pm on Thursday 9 and Friday 10 July. Outdoor stages wrap up at 11:00 pm, the premium area opens at 3:00 pm, and the Natten club runs from 10:00 pm to 3:00 am.

Is there a campsite?

Yes — Camp Gunnarsbø sits in Gunnarsbøparken, within walking distance of the site. It is paid: around 595 kr per person plus 774 kr per tent pitch. It opens on Wednesday 8 July at 1:00 pm and closes on Saturday 11 July at noon, with check-in from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

How do I get there by train?

The grounds are a few minutes' walk from Tønsberg train station and the harbour (Brygga). Frequent trains reach Oslo in about an hour, and Torp airport is only 20 minutes away. VKT operates local night buses.

A huge food hall (mathall) serves dishes from all over the world, with plenty of options for vegetarians and people with allergies.

Is the site wheelchair accessible?
